Welcome to our Sunday School 

 

  

Our Sunday School takes place on Sunday mornings, at the same time as the worship service (10:00am). The children come to the start of the worship service with their families. Early on during the service, that Pastor has a special message just for the children, done with puppets. The children are then led in a song geared just for them (but the adults have fun joining in on it), and then head out to the Education room for their own Story and Craft time. Our Sunday School time lasts about 30 minutes, then the children join the congregation again for the end of the worship service. Our worship service ends around 11:15am.

 

We have a ”One Room” Sunday School. It is for children ages 3 to grade 4. The children all gather together for a Story and a Craft time, the older children helping out the younger ones when needed. It is very much a “family style” Sunday School, with all ages doing it together. We also have youth in our congregation that take turns coming out to help the teacher, and the children really enjoy spending time with them.

 

The curriculum that we are using for this term is from CPH, entitled “Growing in Christ”. We have Sunday School every Sunday, except for during the Christmas holidays, Spring Break, and during the summer, beginning from mid June through August.

 

Every Sunday though, we have coloring and activity sheets, related to the sermon topic of the day, available for the children during the worship service. We also have a Nursery Room available for younger children if needed. It has a big window into the Sanctuary and speakers, so parents can still see and hear the service.
